Hospitalist position in: Midland, MI

Hospitalist Opportunity Located in Midland, Michigan • Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hospitalist to join a growing hospital medicine program. • Full-time opportunities available on a rotating schedule (days, afternoons, and nights) or as a dedicated nocturnist. • Standard 7-on/7-off schedule promoting work-life balance. • Average census: o Rounding: 16–20 patients per shift o Admissions: 10–16 patients per shift • Closed ICU model with strong specialist support. • Collaborative and collegial environment with access to a wide range of subspecialty services. • Opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth and development of the hospital medicine program. Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive medical management of hospitalized patients. • Perform admissions, history and physical examinations, and admission orders. • Participate in rapid response and code blue teams. • Provide consultations and ongoing inpatient medical management. • Assume care and management of general inpatient admissions. Qualifications: • MD or DO degree required. • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine. • Current AHA-approved BLS and ACLS certifications. • Michigan medical license or eligibility for licensure. • Must be a U.S. citizen due to the HPSA status of the geographic area.
