Locum Hospitalist Opportunity – Night Coverage | North Carolina
A highly regarded community hospital located approximately one hour from the Raleigh, North Carolina area is seeking a Board-Certified Hospitalist for ongoing night coverage beginning September 15th.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a strong, collaborative team and extensive specialty support in a well-established hospital setting.
Position Details
- Start Date: September 15
- Schedule: Night shifts
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Patient Volume: Approximately 5 admissions per night
- Procedures: None required
- ICU: Open ICU (8 beds); no ICU procedures required
- EMR: Paragon
- Privileges: Temporary privileges available
- Tele ICU present at night.
- Rate: $200/hr
Staffing Model
- Three daytime providers
- One physician covering nights
- Codes managed jointly by the Emergency Department and Hospitalist team
Requirements
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active North Carolina license or eligible through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
