We are seeking a Hospitalist for a locum tenens nocturnist position in Orange, CA. This is an overnight inpatient float pool coverage opportunity spanning two hospital sites, with no call required. Please see below for more information.
Beds: Up to 144 (Irvine campus) / 80 (Los Alamitos)
EMR: Epic
Job Responsibilities
Manage a 60% admit rate at the Irvine campus
Perform own procedures including central line and arterial line placement
Provide vent management
Respond to code blue at the Los Alamitos site (ICU team handles codes at the Irvine campus)
Work in a closed ICU environment (no observation unit at Irvine)
Care for adult patient population in a high-acuity setting
Qualifications
Active California state license
DEA
ACLS (American Heart Association)
Epic experience required
Experience in high-acuity setting
Working Hours
Available shifts: June 1, 3, 5, 6, 12, 13, 14
No call
Start Date: 6/1/2026
