Locums Neuro Hospitalist Physician

We are seeking a Locums Neuro Hospitalist Physician with Headache specialization to provide outpatient care in Wethersfield, CT. This role focuses on diagnosing and managing patients with migraine and headache disorders, including procedural treatments such as injections. The ideal candidate has fellowship training in headache medicine and is comfortable managing both new and follow-up patients.

Compensation: $280 Per Hour

Schedule

• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Setting: Outpatient
• Call Requirements: Preferred but not required

Practice Setting

• Outpatient neurology clinic
• Focus on headache and migraine management
• Patient Volume: 12–15 patients per day
• Strong on-site support staff including:
  • Medical Assistant
  • Nurse
  • Front desk team

Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with migraine and headache disorders
• Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits
• Perform in-office procedures including:
  • Botox injections
  • Occipital nerve block injections
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
• Headache Fellowship required
• Active Connecticut medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Experience with Botox and nerve block procedures
