We are seeking a skilled and dedicated PRN nocturnist hospital medicine physician to join our HM team at HCA West Florida in Pensacola. This position provides overnight inpatient care coverage on an as-needed basis, supporting admissions, cross-coverage, and acute clinical management to ensure high-quality care for hospitalized patients. We ask that you have one year of experience to apply.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide overnight inpatient care, including admissions, evaluations, and ongoing management
- Respond to acute changes in patient condition and coordinate necessary interventions
- Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and ancillary teams to ensure safe and effective care
- Document clinical encounters thoroughly and in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
- Participate in handoff communication to daytime providers to support continuity of care
- Adhere to evidence-based hospital medicine practices and patient safety protocols
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board-certified or board-eligible in internal medicine or family medicine (with inpatient experience)
- Active and unrestricted state medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Current ACLS/BLS certification
- Prior hospitalist or inpatient medicine experience preferred
