Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,310 – $3,930
• Location: Rochester, NH (03867) — Seacoast New Hampshire
• Setting: Hospital – Open ICU (5 beds) (Hospitalist, acute care setting)
• Contract Duration: 12 weeks (June 26, 2026 – September 18, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) — Night Shift Nurse Practitioner
• Shifts per Month: 8–10
• Employment Type: Locum tenens / Travel NP / Hospitalist NP position

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a hospitalist or acute care setting (Hospitalist NP, Acute Care NP)
• Active Nurse Practitioner license in New Hampshire or eligibility for New Hampshire NP licensure
• Ability to work independently during night shifts and manage urgent inpatient needs
• Comfortable managing medical admissions, rehab consults, and psych consults
• BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Manage 0–3 medical admissions per night (hospitalist admissions and inpatient care)
• Handle 0–3 rehab and psychiatric consults per night
• Provide clinical care in an open ICU (5 beds); no procedures required on this assignment (EM physicians assist with procedures; tele-ICU manages drips/vents)
• Collaborate with supervising physician who is available by phone for case discussions
• Maintain thorough patient documentation and deliver high-quality care during night shifts
