Nocturnist Physician (MD/DO) – Locum Tenens Opportunity
York, Pennsylvania
A Nocturnist locum opportunity is available in York, PA, offering a flexible block schedule, strong physician support, and a manageable inpatient environment. This is an excellent opportunity for providers seeking consistent night or swing shift coverage in a collaborative setting.
Assignment Overview
- Start Date: May start (ongoing need)
- Schedule:
- 12-hour shifts
- Nights: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM or 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- 7 on / 7 off schedule
- Up to 14 shifts per month
- Setting: Inpatient hospital
- Patient Population: Adults only
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide overnight inpatient coverage
- Manage admissions and ongoing patient care
- Collaborate with hospital team for patient management
- No procedures required
Practice Details
- Supported by 2 additional physicians on staff
- ICU status: Pending (open/closed ICU structure to be confirmed)
- EMR: Epic
- Team-oriented and supportive environment
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- ACLS certification required
- Comfortable managing inpatient adult population
