OB Hospitalist Physician
Location: Everett, WA
Compensation: $200 per hour
Full-Time
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN to join a well-established OB Hospitalist program in Everett, Washington. This opportunity offers a strong hourly rate, structured shift scheduling, and a collaborative Labor and Delivery environment focused on safety and high-quality outcomes.
Position Overview
As an OB Hospitalist, you will serve as a key clinical leader on Labor and Delivery, providing comprehensive obstetrical care and supporting community physicians and midwives. This role emphasizes emergency readiness, teamwork, and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care
Deliver direct care to high-risk obstetric patients, with Maternal Fetal Medicine support available via phone or teleconsult as needed
Participate in daily Labor and Delivery board rounds
Serve as a safety leader on Labor and Delivery to help ensure optimal patient outcomes
Support community physicians and midwives through clinical assistance and coverage as requested and available
Provide contraceptive services where applicable
Schedule
Primarily 24-hour shifts
Some 12-hour or mixed shift models available
Full-time clinicians typically work 5–9 (24-hour) shifts per 28-day block
Benefits eligibility begins with a commitment of 5 shifts per 28-day block
Compensation and Benefits
$200 per hour

Malpractice coverage with unlimited tail (lifetime coverage)
$2,000 annual CME stipend
Coverage for ACOG/ACOOG membership dues
Coverage for ABOG/AOBOG certification maintenance

Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN
Licensed to practice medicine in Washington
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with hospital leadership, nursing teams, and medical staff
Experience with obstetrical emergency care preferred
