Job Responsibilities
• Perform admissions including detailed history, physical exams, and diagnostics
• Manage acute and complex conditions with intensivist support in an open ICU
• Document accurately in EMR and ensure compliance with standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care
• Facilitate safe discharges with proper follow-up planning
• Participate in handoffs, rounds, and quality improvement initiatives
• Support and mentor clinical staff when applicable
Qualifications
• New York medical license or willingness to obtain (Required)
• DEA certification (Required)
• Clean malpractice and license history (Required)
• 1 year hospitalist/nocturnist experience preferred
• New graduates (BE within 1 year) welcome
