Locums - Nocturnist coverage in northeast North Carolina
- Clinical Role:

- Coverage needed June 12 thru 14 ending morning of the 15th
- 7:30p-7:30a
- Additional shifts may become available
- Paid On-site orientation required prior to first shift
- 100+ bed hospital part of a regional health system
- No call
- Average daily census is 54
- Three physicians on day shift
- Average number of patients per shift per provider is 16-18
- Average admissions per shift per provider is 2
- No procedures required; ventilator management in ICU is required
- 23 bed Surgical Unit, 28 bed Medical Unit and 10 bed ICU
- Hospitalists do not serve as backup to the ER but do run codes
- Epic EMR
- Active North Carolina license and DEA required
- BLS required
