Job description
A well-established Patient-centered healthcare organization organization in North Central Massachusetts is seeking a Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join its growing primary care team. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment while serving individuals and families in the community.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform physical examinations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and manage patient treatment plans
• Coordinate care and refer patients to specialists when needed
• Work collaboratively with nurse practitioners, behavioral health providers, and clinical staff
• Participate in on-call coverage as required
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow safety and quality standards
• Participate in health education and preventive care programs
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
• Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts
• Current DEA and Controlled Substance License (or ability to obtain)
• ACLS or CPR/AED certification
• Strong communication and patient care skills
