seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Hospitalist to join a collaborative inpatient team in Wellsville, New York. This role offers 24-hour shifts with strong Advanced Practice Provider support, allowing physicians to provide excellent patient care while maintaining a balanced workload.
With expedited credentialing available, this is an excellent opportunity for a physician who already holds an active New York State license and is ready to start quickly.
Position Overview
Shift Structure: 24-hour shifts
Day Coverage (7a–7p)
• Hospitalist onsite with 12 hours of APP support
Night Coverage (7p–7a)
• Hospitalist on call
• Experienced APP manages the floor and house
Patient Load
• 18–25 patients, shared between Hospitalist and APP
ICU
• 6-bed ICU with Pulmonologist support available
Procedures
• Not required, but helpful
Compensation & Benefits
• $2,500 – $3,000 per 24-hour shift
• Travel and lodging fully covered
• Malpractice insurance provided, including full tail coverage
• Strong team of experienced APPs and specialists
Start Timeline (Paid Training & Orientation)
• March 26–27: Epic Training / Shadow Shifts
• March 30–31: Onsite Orientation
• April 1: First Independent Shift
Requirements
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Active New York State Medical License required
