365 Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Hospitalist for flexible locum coverage in Mason City, Iowa. This opportunity offers 24-hour in-house coverage within a well-supported birth center, working alongside an experienced OB team and multidisciplinary support staff.

Flexible coverage blocks allow physicians to select shifts that fit their schedule.

Schedule

• 24-hour in-house shifts
• Flexible 24–96 hour shift blocks
• Approximately 4 shifts per month
• Weekend coverage required

Practice Overview

• Hospital-based birth center
• Approximately 500–600 deliveries annually
• Teaching hospital with residency program
• Epic EMR

Clinical Responsibilities

• Labor and delivery coverage
• Vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Obstetric triage and patient evaluation
• Management of high-risk and routine obstetric cases
• OB emergencies and urgent gynecologic consultations
• Mentoring residents and clinical staff

Support Team

• OB/GYN physicians
• Advanced Practice Providers
• 24/7 pediatric hospitalists
• NICU nurses
• Labor and delivery nursing staff
• Lactation consultants

Requirements

• Board Certified in OB/GYN
• Active Iowa medical license
• Clean malpractice and background history
• NPDB Self-Query required
