Locum OB/GYN Hospitalists Needed in Ohio!

ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking OB/GYN Hospitalists to provide ongoing coverage with 24-hour in-house shifts. The role focuses on managing obstetric and gynecologic emergencies, supporting labor and delivery services, and collaborating with community OB physicians. Providers will work within a multidisciplinary care team to ensure continuity of care, improved patient outcomes, and efficient hospital operations.

Job Details / Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour in-house OB/GYN hospitalist coverage

• Manage obstetric and gynecologic emergencies

• Evaluate and treat OB/GYN patients presenting in the emergency department

• Collaborate closely with community obstetricians and office-based providers

• Maintain real-time communication with office physicians regarding triage visits, new clinical issues, and deliveries

• Support multidisciplinary obstetric critical care initiatives

• Follow established best practices to ensure patient safety, continuity of care, and quality outcomes

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Board Certification in OB/GYN – Required

• Ohio Medical License – Preferred (or in process) or eligible for IMLC

• Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical OB/GYN experience – Required

• Completed Prescreen Questionnaire – Required

• Self-Query NPDB report dated within the past month – Required

• Updated CV in MM/YYYY format with all employment gaps explained – Required

• Ability to manage OB/GYN emergencies and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary hospital team.
