About The Role
- The primary responsibilities for this role include handling nighttime admissions and supervising the night APC as needed
- Physicians can expect to manage an average of ten admissions during each 12-hour shift in a very busy, fast-paced environment
- You will see patients across all acuity levels, including medically and socially complex cases
- Candidates should be prepared to discuss their comfort level in caring for these challenging patient populations during the interview process
- The facility features a closed ICU staffed by intensivists
- Performing procedures or running codes is voluntary, with interventional radiology available for procedures if needed
- Family medicine residents are able to run codes due to the onsite residency program
- An excellent range of specialists is available for referrals and consultations, ensuring strong support and collaboration
