Hospitalist opening - Madison, Wisconsin Position Details

• Full-time, employed Hospitalist position
• Self-scheduled model
• 15‚Äì16 shifts per month
• 12-hour rounding shifts: 7a‚Äì7p
• 10-hour admitting shifts: 11a‚Äì9p, 12p‚Äì10p, 3p‚Äì1a
• 6-hour admitting shift: 5p‚Äì11p
• Overnight shifts: 9p‚Äì7a (dedicated Nocturnists in place)
• Open ICU with intensivist consult availability
• Full spectrum specialty support
• Average census: 13‚Äì15 patients
• Approximately 30 admits per day (team-based)
• No required procedures (optional limited ultrasound procedures available)
• Hospitalists serve as primary code responders unless intensivist assumes care
• Excellent work/life balance with flexible scheduling

• MD or DO
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Ability to obtain unrestricted Wisconsin medical license
• Unrestricted DEA and prescribing authority
