Overview of the Role:
Exciting Future Opportunity at Alignment Health! The Hybrid Remote Lead Physician is responsible for partnering with other members of the clinical operations team to provide support to our high-risk Alignment Health patients on a virtual basis and occasionally within their homes or SNF’s. The Hybrid Remote Lead Physician will work with the Regional Medical Officers, Vice Presidents, and other market leaders collectively to lead the start-up and champion the growth of new regions.

Pay Range: $250,000.00 - $325,000.00

Job Responsibilities

• Monday – Friday traditional work hours. No weekends, no call, no evenings.
• Fully remote most days, must be willing to do home visits up to 2 days a week (at most 5 patients per day)
• Lead broader clinical team which may include nurses, health coaches, social workers, and care coordinators in Fresno and Madera Counties
• Directly accountable for all clinical outcomes.
• Conducting SNF rounds and management to at least one (1) SNF
• Participate/advise in the management of all the clinical divisions (physicians, NPs, PAs case management and MAs) within a single or multiple regions.
• Partner and communicate with Regional Medical Officer and other team members to discuss and develop the most appropriate care plans possible based on the needs of our members/patients.
• Coordinate care with multiple stakeholders, including but not limited to PCPs, specialists, and ancillary providers.

Qualifications

Preferred Skills and Experiences:
• 1+ years of Hospitalist, Family Practice, or Internist experience preferred but will also consider graduating residents and fellows.
• 1+ Years of Managed Care Experience Preferred
• Medical Doctorate (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.); Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Residency
• Medical License in the state California; DEA license, must be board certified or board eligible in specialty.
• Career interest in management

Working Hours

Monday through Friday 8 am - 5 pm pst.
