Location: Shelton, Connecticut

A well-established, community-focused acute care hospital in the Shelton, Connecticut area is actively seeking a full-time Hospitalist MD to join its collegial and patient-centered inpatient medicine team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a supportive hospital environment known for clinical excellence and strong physician engagement. Position Overview

• Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care to adult patients
• Manage admissions, daily rounding, and discharges
• Collaborate closely with specialists, nursing staff, case management, and ancillary services
• Participate in a structured hospitalist schedule (block schedule model)
• Respond to acute changes in patient condition and coordinate higher levels of care when needed
• Ensure timely documentation and effective communication with primary care providers
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (or Family Medicine with hospitalist experience)
• Eligible for Connecticut State medical licensure
• Active/Eligible DEA registration
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• New graduates and experienced hospitalists are encouraged to apply

Compensation is open to discussion and commensurate with experience. Comprehensive benefits package included.
