Permanent Hospitalist Physician needed in Syracuse New York!

Nocturnist Hospitalist Opportunity – Syracuse, New York

Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join its established Hospitalist team as a Nocturnist in Syracuse, New York. This position focuses on delivering high-quality overnight inpatient care within a collaborative, physician-led environment with strong specialty support.

Position Details:

• Provide overnight inpatient coverage on a 7 PM – 7 AM schedule

• 7-on/7-off rotation with 12-hour shifts

• Manage admissions and provide ongoing care for hospitalized patients

• Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations

• Provide closed ICU overnight rounding for Hospitalist patients

• Monitor patient status and respond to clinical changes

• Coordinate discharge planning and follow-up care

• Document patient care in EPIC EMR

• Collaborate with subspecialists and multidisciplinary care teams

Requirements:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 2 years) in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

• Active New York medical license or willingness to obtain

• Active DEA registration

• Clean malpractice and license history

• Current NPDB Self-Query report dated within 30 days of presentation

• Prior hospitalist experience required
