Locums Hospitalist Opportunity – Portsmouth, New Hampshire Area

Clinical Role

• Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician

• Inpatient hospitalist role

Assignment Details

• Reason for Need: Physician leave of absence

• Assignment Length: Approximately 2.5 months

• Estimated Dates: June 2, 2026 – August 17, 2026

• Providers Needed: Ideally one provider

Schedule

• Shift: Admitter shift, 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM

• Schedule: 7-on / 7-off (must be available for 7 on/7 off in order to be considered)

• Days: Tuesday through Monday

• Call: None (no night or weekend call)

Patient Volume

• Average Admissions: Approximately 8 per shift (range 6–12)

• Patient Population: Adult

• Setting: Inpatient only

Practice Environment

• Facility Type: Hospital

• Location: Considered rural

• Support Staff: APRN support

• Procedures Required: None

• EMR: Epic

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

• Experience in Hospital Medicine required

• New Hampshire medical license and DEA required

• Fellowship not required

• Prior experience in similar inpatient settings preferred
