Seeking a Hospitalist Medical Director to lead and manage a hospital medicine program in Rock Hill, South Carolina. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing clinical operations, strategic planning, and performance management to achieve program goals and ensure high-quality patient care.
Position Highlights:
Leadership role managing a hospitalist program
Oversight of clinical, operational, and financial performance
Strategic planning and physician communication responsibilities
Business development and growth initiatives
Collaboration with regional medical leadership and operations teams
Responsibility for client satisfaction and contract compliance
Responsibilities:
Manage care strategies and clinical oversight of the practice
Lead recruitment efforts for hospitalist providers
Oversee orientation and onboarding of new clinicians
Monitor individual physician performance
Provide feedback and coordinate performance improvement interventions
Conduct routine performance reviews
Work with regional medical director and vice president of operations on budgeting and operational requirements
Qualifications:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Prior leadership or medical director experience preferred
Eligible for South Carolina medical licensure
