NeuroHospitalist Physician Opportunity
Specialty: Neurohospitalist
Board Certification: Neurology
License: Active OK
Willing to License: Y (IMLC in hand)
Start Date and Realistic timeframe for Creds: 60 days out
Contract length: Full-time, ongoing
Schedule: 7on/7off, 7 am – 7 pm, then on call (Monday through Monday)
Call: Yes – rotational primary call for new patients, secondary coverage for existing patients
Setting: Inpatient consults, Comprehensive Stroke Center, ED, Level II Trauma Center (Neuro-ICU has separate coverage)
Requirements: EEG privileges, lumbar puncture privileges
Additional Details:
- Consult service includes inpatient consults and read EEGs
- Support: IR & Diagnostic Radiology; strong nursing staff; no APPs
- Natus XLTEK EEG system; new bedside rapid EEG
- Typical consult volume: 30–40 patients/day for two neurologists
- EMR: EPIC
