We are seeking a full-time Hospitalist Physician to join a well-established inpatient team in a supportive, community-focused hospital setting. This permanent opportunity offers a balanced 7-on/7-off daytime schedule, manageable patient volumes, and strong specialty backup. The role is ideal for physicians who value clinical autonomy, teamwork, and a sustainable work-life balance in a collaborative hospital environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care during scheduled daytime shifts
• Perform daily rounds on assigned patients with an average census of 12–15 patients
• Admit patients and manage acute medical conditions
• Respond to rapid responses and medical codes as needed
• Collaborate with intensivists in an open ICU with 24/7 consultation availability
• Conduct patient evaluations, histories, physicals, and progress notes
• Document patient care using an electronic medical record system
• Coordinate care with specialists, nursing staff, and hospital leadership
• Participate as part of a hospitalist team managing shared patient volumes

Qualifications

• MD or DO required
• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
o Board Certification required within 2 years of contract start if Board Eligible
• Active New York medical license or willingness to obtain
• Clean malpractice and licensure history
• Current DEA, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Comfortable working in an open ICU environment with intensivist support
• New graduates welcome
• Must be available for full-time, permanent employment

Working Hours

• Day shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 7 days on / 7 days off schedule
• Weekends included as part of the rotation
• No on-call responsibilities
