Locum OB/GYN Hospitalist Opportunity in Des Moines, IA

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Locum OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our team. Located in the heart of Des Moines, our facility offers a vibrant healthcare environment focused on patient-centered care. As an OB/GYN Hospitalist, you will play a pivotal role in managing obstetric emergencies and supporting patients throughout their maternity journey.

Job Responsibilities:

• Care for OBED patients and emergent cases, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
• Provide assistance to patients who do not have a primary OBGYN.
• Be part of the only maternity transport team in Iowa.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in OB/GYN (Board Eligible candidates may be accepted).
• Active Iowa License or Active IMLC (must upload Letter of Qualification at time of name clearance).
• Ability to start as soon as possible.
• Clean malpractice and background history.
• Must provide a Self-Query NPDB (to be pulled within the month) at time of presentation.
• Candidates must not be local to the Des Moines area.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification in OB/GYN (Required).
• Active Iowa Medical License or IMLC (Required).
