Are you a dedicated Pediatric Hospitalist looking for an opportunity to provide exceptional care to our youngest patients? We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate physician to join our dynamic team in a locum capacity. This critical role offers the chance to work in a supportive environment, impacting patient outcomes while enjoying flexible scheduling and competitive pay.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing neonatal and pediatric emergencies, including airway management, chest tube insertions, UVC/UAC placements, lumbar punctures, and EKG interpretations. Your expertise will ensure our neonatal intensive care is delivered with the utmost precision and compassion. The schedule primarily involves 24-hour call shifts from 6 am to 6 am, with specific date coverage starting March 12, 2026, through late April.

Required Skills:
- Neonatal airway management, including intubation
- Management of neonatal air leaks and pneumothorax
- Emergent UVC placement (delivery room)
- UVC/UAC placement
- Lumbar puncture procedure
- EKG interpretation
- Active California medical license
- Board certification or eligible within 3-5 years of residency
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
Nice to Have Skills:
- Ventilator management
- Chest tube insertion in neonates
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Board-certified or eligible pediatrician
- Recent experience in neonatal and pediatric hospital settings
Other Requirements:
- Valid California medical license
- Ability to participate in scheduled shifts during specified periods
- Travel, licensure, certification, and related reimbursements when applicable
