🩺 Position Overview

  • Inpatient Hospitalist – Adult Medicine
  • Team-based model managing patients collaboratively
  • Average 12–15 patients per physician per day
  • Collective daily census of approximately 40–50 patients
  • Non-trauma hospital setting with solid infrastructure

  • 7 Days On / 7 Days Off
  • 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • No overnight call

  • Daily inpatient rounds and admissions
  • Management of rapid responses and codes
  • Collaboration with intensivists in an open ICU
  • Comprehensive patient evaluations and documentation
  • Coordination with consulting specialists and care teams
  • Delivering high-quality, compassionate inpatient care

🎯 Candidate Requirements

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
    • BE candidates must achieve Board Certification within 2 years
  • Open to new graduates
  • Active New York medical license or willingness to obtain
  • ACLS, BLS, PALS, and DEA required
  • Comfortable working in an open ICU model with intensivist support
  • NPDB Self-Query
