Hospitalist Opportunity – Mix of Days and Nights
Location: Rutland, VT - Manchester, NH 120m; Albany, NY 90m
Setting: Inpatient Hospital Medicine
Schedule: Mix of Day and Night Shifts
Employment Type: Full-Time, Employed
Position Highlights
* Pure hospital medicine with no ICU or procedure responsibilities
* Average daily census of 12–14 patients with seasonal variation
* Supportive, physician-focused practice environment
* Strong interdisciplinary collaboration with nursing, pharmacy, case management, and social work teams
Schedule & Workload
* 10-hour shifts
* Day rounding shifts: 7:00am–5:00pm
* Admit shifts: 11:00am–9:00pm
* 14 shifts per 28-day cycle
* Two weeks of vacation built into the schedule
Clinical Environment
* Closed ICU managed by dedicated ICU physicians
* No bedside procedures required
* Emphasis on quality care and reasonable patient volumes
