Physician – Hospitalist – OB (Obstetrics & Gynecology) – Permanent Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ob-GYN/OB-Hospitalist Physician to join a reputable hospital-based practice focused on providing exceptional maternal and neonatal care. This opportunity is ideal for physicians committed to delivering high-quality, comprehensive care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Position Overview:
  • Provide comprehensive obstetric care for high-risk mothers and their infants, serving a diverse patient population from across the region.
  • Collaborate closely with Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists, perinatal nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff within a dedicated 25-bed Labor & Delivery unit.
  • Manage complex obstetric cases, including high-risk pregnancies and regional neonatal transports, ensuring the safety and well-being of mothers and babies.
  • Participate in flexible shift schedules, including 12-hour and 24-hour shifts, with options for full-time or part-time employment to support work-life balance.
  • Work in a hospital setting that operates as part of Denver’s only single-site Level IV maternal and child hospital, offering advanced maternal and neonatal services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality obstetric and gynecological care, including prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum management.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Engage in effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:
  • Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology; Board Eligible candidates may be considered if within the certification window.
  • Valid medical license to practice in Colorado or eligible for a Colorado medical license.
  • Residency within the local area is required; candidate relocation may be necessary.
  • Proven experience managing high-risk obstetric cases is preferred.
  • Emphasis on compassionate patient care and strong teamwork skills.
