We are seeking a full-time Hospitalist to provide locum tenens coverage in South Carolina. This is a 7-on / 7-off opportunity at a rural facility with strong team support.
Assignment Overview
- Schedule cycle runs Tuesday through Monday
- 24-hour call, alternating every other day/night
- One incoming physician assumes call Monday at 7:00 PM through Tuesday at 7:00 AM before the alternating cycle begins
- On-call physician handles all ED admissions and floor calls
- Average hospitalist service census: 21 patients, each hospitalist averages anywhere from 10-22 PPD
- Must be able to read EKGs and perform stress tests
- EMR: Epic
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- Active South Carolina Medical License
- Active CSR
- DEA that can be permanently registered in South Carolina
