Required Skills:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Valid medical license to practice in Kentucky
- Board certification in OB/GYN or equivalent
- Proven experience managing obstetric and gynecologic patients
- Ability to work independently with strong clinical judgment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and compassion
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in a hospitalist or locum tenens setting
- Familiarity with Level 2 NICU operations
- Previous experience in outpatient gynecology and surgical procedures
- Knowledge of remote MFM consultation processes
- Ability to adapt to a triage or alternate delivery model
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Residency training in obstetrics and gynecology
- Prior experience in a hospital-based OB service
- At least 2 years of post-residency clinical practice
Other Requirements:
- Must be willing to participate in 24-hour shift coverage, including call and on-call duties
- Compliance with all licensing, certification, and hospital credentialing standards
- Ability to travel to and from the facility if required
- Must hold or obtain appropriate medical malpractice insurance
