Hospitalist Medical Director opportunity in Oxnard, CA

We’re looking for a Board-Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to step into a leadership role where collaboration, flexibility, and community impact come together. Position Highlights:

• Provide clinical oversight for the team while building strong relationships with our hospital partner leadership.
• Manage an open ICU, but no procedures are required for this role.
• Responsibilities include rounding, admissions, discharges, and cross coverage depending on the shift.
• Help manage two hospitals- a 265 bed and a 23-bed acute rehabilitation facility, and an 82 acute care bed and a 99-bed extended care unit.
• Administrative Days are offered.
• 7 days on/7 days off block scheduling or flexible scheduling.
• 12-hour clinical shifts.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.
• Must have leadership experience in hospital medicine and at least 3+ years of hospitalist experience.
