- Schedule:
- Full-time: 7.5 24-hour shifts per month
- Part-time option available: minimum 5.5 24-hour shifts per month
- Start: ASAP with active Texas license
👶 Clinical Scope & Responsibilities
- Manage OB triage, admissions, deliveries, and inpatient care
- Provide coverage for unassigned patients and assist with private call coverage
- Respond to labor & delivery emergencies
- Assist with Cesarean sections and OB surgical procedures
- Cover OB floor responsibilities and handle GYN emergency consults from the ER
- Collaborate closely with:
- In-house neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners
- Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists for high-risk pregnancies
- Practice in a setting with:
- Nearly 2,000 annual deliveries
- High-volume OB triage and consult activity
- A Level II NICU environment
✅ Requirements
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in OB/GYN (within 5 years of residency)
- Active Texas medical license (or in process)
- DEA license
