Methodist Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nocturnist Hospitalist to join our dynamic team in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will be a board-certified or board-eligible, Internal Medicine trained physician. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a Level I trauma center, where you will provide expert care to critically injured and ill patients.

Job Requirements:
- Must be willing to work Nocturnist position
- Must have successfully completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)
- Must be ABIM Certified
- Must have active Texas Medical License and DEA
- Must have at least two (2) years of Hospitalist experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with other physicians, APPs, nurses and other healthcare professionals
- Conduct thorough physical assessment and medical histories of hospitalized patients
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including imaging studies and laboratory tests, to make accurate diagnoses based on clinical findings and test results
- Develop and implement patient tailored treatment plans
- Provide patient and family education regarding their condition and treatments
- Maintain accurate medical records and follows the standard practices of documentation
- Instruct patients on prescribed therapeutic regimens, home care and health maintenance
- Stay up to date on evidence-based practices relevant to hospital medicine and follow hospital-based protocols
