Job description
We are seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist for a locum tenens assignment in California, starting Dec 25, 2025, for 15 days. This opportunity features a rotating schedule of day shifts (7a-7p) and night shifts (7p-7a), covering pediatric, OB, and ED floors. The ideal candidate will provide general pediatric hospitalist coverage and deliver high-quality care in a dynamic inpatient setting. Experience with Epic EMR is required.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide general pediatric hospitalist coverage across pediatric, OB, and ED floors
- Manage and coordinate inpatient care for pediatric patients
- Respond to emergent situations and provide appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Epic EMR system
Additional Information
- Active California medical license required
- Board certification in Pediatrics required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
- Previous experience working as a pediatric hospitalist preferred
