Job description

Job description We are seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist for a locum tenens assignment in California, starting Dec 25, 2025, for 15 days. This opportunity features a rotating schedule of day shifts (7a-7p) and night shifts (7p-7a), covering pediatric, OB, and ED floors. The ideal candidate will provide general pediatric hospitalist coverage and deliver high-quality care in a dynamic inpatient setting. Experience with Epic EMR is required.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide general pediatric hospitalist coverage across pediatric, OB, and ED floors
  • Manage and coordinate inpatient care for pediatric patients
  • Respond to emergent situations and provide appropriate interventions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Epic EMR system

Additional Information
  • Active California medical license required
  • Board certification in Pediatrics required
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
  • Previous experience working as a pediatric hospitalist preferred
