Required Skills:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Valid medical license to practice in California
- Proven experience as an OB Hospitalist or in a similar inpatient obstetric role
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital setting
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Familiarity with hospital protocols and obstetric emergencies
- Prior locum tenens experience
- Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of post-residency clinical experience in obstetrics
- Current opportunities for CA state medical licensure
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work weekends starting from December 31, 2025
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary hospital credentials and privileging
- Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NRP preferred
- Reimbursements for travel, licensure, certifications, and related expenses where applicable
