Hospitalist Opportunity – Tulsa, Oklahoma Board-Certified or Board-Eligible IM Hospitalist A large, well-established health system in Tulsa is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Hospitalist to join a collaborative, team-oriented inpatient program. This full-time position offers the stability of a growth-focused program, strong sub-specialty support, and opportunities for academic collaboration. Position Highlights • Adult inpatient care (patients 16+) across a large tertiary facility with robust sub-specialty support and 4 closed ICUs • Schedule: 7-on/7-off, 12-hour shifts (7 AM – 7 PM); part-time and nocturnist shifts also available (7 PM – 7 AM) • Average daily census: 18 patients; 1–3 admissions per shift on a round-robin rotation • No mandatory procedures; procedures available upon request • Support staff includes experienced hospitalists, discharge coordinators, and rapid response/code teams • Teaching opportunities with local medical schools Call & Coverage • One day of triage call per month • No floor call after 7 PM; no ER call or admissions after 4 PM • Code teams manage emergencies; hospitalist involved only for their own patients Benefits & Compensation • Competitive base salary with wRVU threshold, quality and retention bonuses • Health and dental insurance, life insurance, long-term disability • Retirement plans (401k/457b) and professional liability coverage • Paid CME and recruitment loan options • Relocation and rural stipends for qualifying candidates Qualifications • MD or DO degree • Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in Internal Medicine • Board Certification required within 7 years of training completion • Open to new graduates and experienced physicians Program Highlights & Location • Large hospitalist team with strong retention (90+ hospitalists, 94% retention rate) • EPIC EMR system, streamlined communication via EPIC, email, or text • Stroke-certified facility and Level II Trauma Center • Academic tertiary care setting with full subspecialty support • Catchment area of ~2 million, including surrounding regions of Oklahoma, NW Arkansas, and SE Kansas
