We are seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist for a 5-day locum tenens assignment in Oregon beginning Dec 30, 2025. This opportunity involves 24-hour call coverage, caring for pediatric and neonatal patients in a rural setting with a focus on pediatric critical care experience. The assignment includes coverage of a nursery with neonatal beds for advanced care or close observation, as well as mother/baby rooms.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide hospital-based care for pediatric patients, including newborns and infants in a nursery setting
  • Manage neonatal beds for babies requiring advanced care or close observation
  • Oversee care in mother/baby rooms
  • Deliver care in a rural environment and ensure high-quality patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support pediatric and neonatal patients
  • Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation


Additional Information

  • Clean background required to grant temporary privileges
  • Pediatric Hospital Medicine board certification required
  • Experience with pediatric critical care preferred
  • Must be comfortable working in a rural environment
  • Oregon medical license required
