TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Board-Certified Hospitalist (MD/DO)—Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Med-Peds trained—to provide locum coverage at a community hospital in Edenton, North Carolina. Providers must be available to complete orientation the day before their first scheduled shift.

Job Responsibilities
Handle 3 admissions per day
Perform EKG interpretations
Provide care in a 4-bed ICU (ICU/Critical Care duties required)
Respond to all in-hospital codes
Work as the sole daytime hospitalist (1 daytime provider)
Collaborate with nighttime coverage (1 nocturnist on call)
Coordinate with emergency services and specialty teams as needed
Qualifications
Active North Carolina medical license
Minimum of 2 years of hospitalist experience strongly preferred
Must be comfortable with ICU-level care and responding to codes
Must complete on-site orientation the day prior to first shift
Strong ability to work independently in a community hospital setting
