Join a thriving OB hospitalist program in Athens, Ohio, where collaboration among hospital staff, obstetricians, and family practice physicians enhances patient care. Our dedicated, board-eligible or board-certified OB Hospitalists are responsible for triage, admissions, inpatient care, and delivery for hospitalized patients. This high-quality approach not only improves clinical outcomes but also boosts patient satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive coverage in February and March, with ongoing opportunities available.
• Work 24-hour shifts with flexible scheduling for work-life balance.
• Collaborate with local OBs in a supportive and cohesive team environment.
• Ensure best practices for continuity, quality, and safety in patient care.
• Communicate in real-time with office physicians regarding triage visits, new issues, and deliveries.
• Enhance patient outcomes while reducing costs.
• Manage OB/GYN emergencies, including in-house coverage for obstetric and gynecologic emergencies.
• Oversee OB/GYN emergency-department patients.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in OB/GYN (Required)
• Ohio state license preferred (or in process) or active IMLC compact eligibility
• Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience (Required)
• Completed Prescreen Questionnaire (Required)
• Provide CV in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained (Required)
• Adhere to specified rate structure (Required)
• Self-Query NPDB (Should be pulled within the month) (Required)

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification in OB/GYN (Required)
• Ohio State License (Preferred)
