Join an exceptional OB hospitalist program located in Athens, Ohio. Our board-eligible or board-certified OB Hospitalists provide comprehensive OB triage, inpatient care, and delivery services for hospitalized patients, ensuring that clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction are at the forefront of our mission.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide 24-hour in-house coverage for obstetric and gynecologic emergencies.
- Collaborate with community obstetricians in a supportive group.
- Manage OB/GYN emergency-department patients.
- Ensure best practices for continuity, quality, and safety in patient care.
- Communicate in real-time with office physicians regarding triage visits, new issues, and deliveries.
- Participate in a multidisciplinary approach to OB critical care.
- Engage in flexible scheduling to promote work-life balance.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in OB/GYN (REQUIRED)
- Active Ohio medical license (PREFERRED) or eligible for IMLC compact
- Minimum of 1-year recent clinical experience (REQUIRED)
- Completion of the Prescreen Questionnaire (REQUIRED)
- CV formatted in MM/YYYY with all gaps explained (REQUIRED)
- Compliance with required rate structures (REQUIRED)
- Self-Query NPDB pulled within the month (REQUIRED)
- Personal contact information to be included on CV (REQUIRED)
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in OB/GYN (mandatory)
- Ohio medical license (preferred) or IMLC compact eligible
