Join a dynamic and collaborative OB hospitalist program in the charming city of Athens, Ohio. Here, our expert, board-certified and board-eligible OB Hospitalists work closely with a team of allied healthcare professionals to provide superior obstetric care. The facility focuses on improving clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction through a cohesive approach that includes OB triage, admissions, inpatient care, and deliveries for hospitalized patients. With 24-hour shifts and flexible scheduling, this role is designed to help you achieve a healthy work-life balance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide OB triage and manage inpatient care for hospitalized patients.
- Conduct deliveries and ensure optimal care for patients during their stay.
- Collaborate with community OBs in a supportive and cohesive group environment.
- Engage in real-time communication with office physicians regarding triage visits, new issues, and deliveries.
- Deliver multidisciplinary OB critical care and manage obstetric and gynecologic emergencies.
- Work flexible 24-hour shifts for in-house coverage.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in OB/GYN (Required)
- Ohio state license preferred (or in process) or active IMLC compact eligibility
- A minimum of 1-year recent clinical experience (Required)
- Completed Prescreen Questionnaire (Required)
- Current CV in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained (Required)
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in OB/GYN
- Active Ohio state license preferred
- Must follow rate structure requirements
