Job description
Job Title: Hospitalist - Physician

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient care with a 7 on / 7 off schedule (7 AM – 7 PM).
- Conduct daily rounds on assigned patients with an average of 12–15 per physician.
- Admit patients and manage rapid responses and codes.
- Collaborate with intensivists in an open ICU setting with 24/7 consultation available.
- Complete patient assessments, histories, physicals, and documentation using Paragon EMR.
- Coordinate with attending physicians, specialists, and hospital staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in managing 40–50 patients collectively with the hospitalist team.
- No on-call duties required.
- Work in a non-trauma designated hospital with a solid infrastructure.
- Accepting Board Eligible candidates who will become Board Certified within two years.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- New York medical license or willingness to obtain.
- Clean malpractice and license history.
- Current DEA, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Open to full-time, 7 on / 7 off schedule.
- Comfortable working in an open ICU with intensivist support.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Must be Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible.
- New York medical license or willingness to obtain – required prior to start.
- DEA, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory.
