Job Title: Hospitalist - Physician

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient care with a 7 on / 7 off schedule (7 AM – 7 PM).
• Conduct daily rounds on assigned patients with an average of 12–15 per physician.
• Admit patients and manage rapid responses and codes.
• Collaborate with intensivists in an open ICU setting with 24/7 consultation available.
• Complete patient assessments, histories, physicals, and documentation using Paragon EMR.
• Coordinate with attending physicians, specialists, and hospital staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Participate in managing 40–50 patients collectively with the hospitalist team.
• No on-call duties required.
• Work in a non-trauma designated hospital with a solid infrastructure.
• Accepting Board Eligible candidates who will become Board Certified within two years.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• New York medical license or willingness to obtain.
• Clean malpractice and license history.
• Current DEA, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Open to full-time, 7 on / 7 off schedule.
• Comfortable working in an open ICU with intensivist support.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Must be Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible.
• New York medical license or willingness to obtain – required prior to start.
• DEA, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory.
