We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Obstetrics Hospitalist to deliver exceptional inpatient care in a supportive Level 2 NICU setting. This dynamic role offers a fulfilling opportunity to work in a collaborative team, utilizing state-of-the-art EPIC electronic medical records, and making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
What You'll Do:
- Provide comprehensive obstetrical care, including approximately 4-5 deliveries per 24-hour shift, with a focus on vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
- Manage a patient load of around 13-14 in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Work five to six 24-hour shifts per month, from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m., with weekend shifts included.
- Enjoy scheduling flexibility with no on-call responsibilities.
- Benefit from a supportive hospital environment committed to high-quality care and patient safety.
- Participate in holiday coverage with premium pay during those periods.
Required Skills:
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Delivery experience is mandatory.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and DEA licensure.
- Valid medical license for California or in active license application.
- COVID-19 vaccination is required.
Nice to Have Skills:
- 1-5 years of practice experience preferred.
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical records.
- Strong collaborative and communication skills.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in OB-GYN, with at least one year of clinical experience post-residency preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Must be able to work in the Fresno, CA, area starting December 8, 2025.
- Candidates with prior malpractice or licensing issues will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Candidates interested in working as 1099 independent contractors are welcome.
- COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory for all providers.
