Join a collaborative and patient-focused team in Ennis, Texas, providing high-quality inpatient care in a community hospital setting. We’re seeking a Board-Certified Hospitalist for locum coverage with scheduled clinic hours and call responsibilities.
Position Overview
As a Hospitalist, you’ll manage the care of hospitalized patients from admission through discharge. You’ll coordinate with specialists, oversee treatment plans, and ensure continuity of care. This role requires clinical precision, strong communication, and a proactive approach to patient safety and outcomes.
Requirements
- Active Texas Medical License
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Experience in inpatient care and managing acute conditions
- Comfortable with rounding, admissions, discharges, and responding to codes
- Availability for scheduled clinic hours and call coverage
