Job Responsibilities
• Manage labor, deliveries, and postpartum care
• Perform C-sections and emergency obstetrical procedures
• Provide comprehensive inpatient obstetric coverage (no on-call)
• Collaborate with nurses, midwives, and neonatal specialists
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR
Qualifications
• Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology (required)
• Active California medical license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and DEA certifications
• Recent delivery experience (within last 2 years)
• 1–5 years of OB hospitalist or similar experience preferred
Working Hours
24-hour in-house shifts (7 AM – 7 AM) | 5–7 shifts per month | Weekends required

• Strong decision-making and communication
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital setting
