Perm - Physician - Hospitalist, NY

• Schedule: 7 on / 7 off (7 AM – 7 PM)

• Average Patient Load: 12–15 patients per day per physician

• Team Census: 40–50 patients per day collectively

• Environment: Non-trauma designated hospital with strong infrastructure

• ICU: Open ICU model with 24/7 intensivist support and consultation available

• Call: No on-call responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care and daily rounds on assigned patients

• Admit patients and respond to rapid responses/codes as needed

• Collaborate with intensivists, attending physicians, and specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Conduct detailed assessments, histories, and physical exams

• Maintain accurate documentation using Paragon EMR

• Participate actively in multidisciplinary care coordination

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible (within 1 year of eligibility) or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine – Required

• New York medical license or willingness to obtain – Required
  

• DEA, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications – Required

• Must be open to a 7 on / 7 off full-time schedule

• Must be comfortable working in an open ICU with intensivist support
  

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base Salary: $250,000 – $275,000 (Guaranteed)

• Starting Bonus: $15,000

• Additional productivity and quality bonuses
