We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Physician to provide locum services in Anchorage, AK. This is an excellent opportunity for providers seeking consistent scheduling in an acute care hospital with a supportive clinical environment. Coverage is needed beginning February 2026, with a 3-month contract and option to extend.
🏥 Job Details:
Setting: Acute care hospital
Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7a–7p or 6p–6a); rotating call; must be willing to work nights and weekends
Coverage: Scheduled shifts only; no residents
Shift Commitment: Providers must be willing to work 7 consecutive shifts, preferably 2 weeks per month
Support Services: Onboarding includes EMR training and two shadow shifts
Patient Volume: 18–22 patients per day
EMR: Epic
Procedures: No special procedures required
📋 Requirements:
Board Certification: Must be BC in ABIM or Family Medicine
License: Active AK license required
Credentialing Timeframe: Minimum 90 days; name clear process required
