We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Physician to provide locum services in Portsmouth, NH. This is an excellent opportunity for providers seeking consistent scheduling in an acute care hospital with a collaborative clinical team. Coverage is needed beginning February 2026, with an ongoing contract.
🏥 Job Details:
Setting: Acute care hospital
Schedule: 10- and 12-hour shifts; 7 on/7 off block schedule; must be willing to work days, nights, and weekends
Coverage: Scheduled shifts only; mix of routine, admitter, and resident-supported shifts
Shift Commitment: Providers must be willing to work 7 consecutive shifts, preferably 2 weeks per month
Support Services: Orientation includes EMR training and onboarding support
Patient Volume: 16–20 patient visits per day
EMR: Meditech
Procedures: No procedures required
ICU: Closed ICU; group includes dedicated nocturnists
📋 Requirements:
Board Certification: Must be BC in ABIM or Family Medicine
License: Active NH license required
Credentialing Timeframe: Minimum 90 days; name clear process required
