Position Summary
The facility is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Hospitalist Neurologist to join its dynamic inpatient neurology team in Frederick, MD .
This full-time position offers a balanced clinical schedule with dedicated inpatient responsibilities. The Hospitalist Neurologist will provide consultative and direct care for patients admitted with neurological conditions, collaborating closely with hospitalists, intensivists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, high-quality care.

Essential Position Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive neurological evaluations for hospitalized patients.
Manage acute neurological cases such as stroke, seizures, and other complex disorders.
Provide consultative services for hospital units and the emergency department.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including hospitalists, critical care physicians, and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes.
Interpret neuroimaging and other diagnostic tests as clinically appropriate.
Participate in daily hospital rounds and contribute to case reviews and teaching discussions.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the EMR system.
Support departmental initiatives focused on quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
Qualifications
Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution.
Licensure & Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology; eligible for Maryland medical licensure.
Experience: Prior inpatient or hospital-based experience preferred; strong new graduates will be considered.
