This position offers an hourly pay rate of $202.80, with benefits including competitive pay packages, weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), a robust referral bonus program, paid sick leave in accordance with applicable laws, and reimbursements for licensure, certification, travel, and other expenses. Orientation hours are paid at 50% of the standard rate, with premium rates for overtime, holidays, and conversion fees based on hours worked.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide OB triage, inpatient admissions, and delivery services for hospitalized patients
- Manage OB/GYN emergency department cases with 24-hour in-house coverage
- Collaborate with community OBs, family practitioners, and specialists to ensure continuity of care
- Facilitate real-time communication regarding triage visits, new issues, and deliveries
- Participate in multidisciplinary OB critical care and ensure adherence to best practices for safety and quality
Required Skills:
- Board-eligible or board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Proven experience in inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care
- Excellent clinical decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
- Flexibility to work 24-hour shifts and adapt to varying schedules
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with OB triage and inpatient management
- Familiarity with hospital-based obstetric emergency protocols
- Prior exposure to multidisciplinary obstetric critical care teams
- Ability to foster collaborative relationships with community healthcare providers
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with active medical license in Ohio or eligibility
- Minimum of 2 years of obstetric care experience, preferably in hospitalist settings
- Prior locum or temporary physician experience is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work 24-hour shifts in Athens, Ohio
- Valid medical license in Ohio or the ability to obtain one
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and safety standards
- Travel and licensure-related reimbursements as applicable
