Hospital employed Hospitalist group seeks additional Internal Medicine residency trained physicians to join a robust, rapidly growing practice as a Hospitalist.

A 400+ bed regional referral center and it manages its own Hospitalist program. The current practice includes more than 25 full-time, BC Internal Medicine Hospitalist physicians.

12 physicians work the 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. shift and 3 physicians cover the 7 p.m.– 7 a.m. shift.
Opening for either daytime or Nocturnist shifts.

Practice Highlights:

• Provide coverage for unassigned patients who present to ED requiring inpatient care, care for transfers, and in hospital consults
• Admit and co-manage with Intensivist support adult patients in critical care
• 24/7 Pulm/Critical Care support for CC admissions
• Manage patients in Clinical Decision Unit
• 24 hour subspecialty support available for specialties including presence of an in-house Radiology physician 24/7
• 7 o n /7 o f f rotation for days and 12 shifts / month for nights

Benefits:

• Hourly rate of 130 for 7am to 7pm
  • Shifts per year 182
    • 12 hours x 182 shifts = 2,184 hours
    • 283,920 yearly (323,920 with incentives)
  • Hourly plus additional 250 per shift if you work more
• Hourly rate of 155 for 7pm to 7am
  • Shifts per month 12
    • 12 hours x 144 shifts (12 shifts monthly x 12 months) = 1,728 hours
    • 267,840 yearly (307,840 with incentives)
  • Hourly plus additional 250 per shift if you work more
• Plus 10k quarterly incentive (if metrics met)
  • Would add 40k to each total
