A respected hospital system in Northern Michigan—located about an hour south of Traverse City—is seeking experienced Hospitalist Physicians (MD/DO) for ongoing locum tenens coverage. This position offers a diverse clinical experience across multiple facilities, with both day and night shifts available.
Position Highlights

Cross-credentialing at three hospital sites, all within approximately an hour radius

Schedule: Day and night shifts available (must be willing to cover both)

ICU: Open (6 ICU beds)

Procedural Expectations

MD/DO Must Do Procedures: Central lines, intubations, arterial lines
Subspecialty Support
General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, and Nephrology available on-site
Candidate Requirements

Board Certified MD/DO with active Michigan medical license

Michigan DEA and CSR in hand (required prior to presentation)

Must be comfortable performing required procedures

Must be willing to cross-credential and work across all three facilities
